This evening, I went to a discussion about the current situation in Venezuela. It was really interesting and informative. But, instead of lecturing you about the really bad political situation there, I will share the most entertaining moment:
During the discussion, someone, as part of their comment, said, “I’m like a tree. My roots are in Venezuela, and my tail and sleeves are in the US.” WHAT? You’re a tree? With a tail?? And sleeves??? I think someone’s simile got a little confused…
