I have no idea how it got to be April already.
I leave for Italy in 6 days.
I turn 21 in 7 days.
Speaking of numbers, they do them funny here. 1’s they write with the little upstroke nearly as tall as the main part of the number. And when they write the time, they always write it using a 24 clock, but verbalize it with the 12 hour clock. For example, an ad on TV for a movie they’re showing tonight will have written on the screen “22:00” but the voice over will say “at 10” (in Spanish, obviously). It still takes me awhile to figure out what time things are when they’re in the afternoon, especially after 21:00.
Tomorrow I’m going to climb a bird-poop covered rock that sticks out into the sea. Should be a good time.
